Getting Ready!

It's been a while for a Shasta Trip...She was under a hood during the winter...Still in our front yard and waiting for our next adventure....

During that time...I got a chance to get things done and ready for our trip in a couple days!

I decided to make some alterations- custom improvements- to the trailer for more ease and comfort...

The table was big and heavy...I decided to make more room and keep the table lighter.


I put together a round top, painted it, put on some star burst decals, gave it a clear coat...and WahLah!
I love the fit and look of it already!

And of course...Our Funky Monkeys are also our New addition!

Then....I wanted to create a nicer awning tent with black out drapes instead of the white tarp we used the last few times...
The tarp was nice, although it was really bright...and at night,  it was like the pictures of the kids in a tent at night with a flash lite....you could see silhouettes...YIKES!

 
Sooo...I bought cream and burgundy black out drapes, got rods, velcro, snaps and created a room that gives us privacy and security! Kinda looks like a Circus tent, but Hey...That's what life is about...Yes!?

 

 

The drapes snap, velcro and have lower pole security....All set and Ret-To-Go!!


Now....for the New Moons and wheel rims...
The wheels were black with silver moons for the last few years...We took the moons off this winter because our weather here causes rust.

 
I ordered new Moons, painted the wheel wells white and the rims red...
Presto...Total Upgrade!

Ready to Roll!
Still working on detail packing...I'll be posting in a couple days with our Two week Adventure to Yosemite Park...and beyond!

Pismo to Petaluma....

Friday the 23rd, We packed up from Pismo and headed through and out towards Petaluma for a few days...

 We Love and will Miss you Pismo and surrounding areas...We'll Be Back...!!!

Stopped Mid Way for a stretch and a bite...

Make way for the Shasta....!!!

Driving North again...we see Interesting things....Check out this Buss Rokin' the B&B's!!

 Finely got to Petaluma and set up...

It was nice, warm and breezy...warmer than Pismo...

Stephen got his Piano all set up...went shopping, had dinner, cocktails and we made a new friend in the next RV, Jim.

When it was time to settle in...I had my bed all set with Hulu and Netflix streaming...Life is Rough!!

And that's Friday.....

Saturday...I took No Pictures...What????

I was, However, Thrifting and getting Nifty things for the Boutique...Soo There's My Excuse!!

Stephen was hangin' with the Shasta and his new friend, Jim...most of the day...Learning sooo many things!!! Duuuuuudes......!!!!

Sunday, We both stuck around the Shasta...really Nice Warm Breezy day...

Stephen Played his piano and read during the day...

I was fighting Allergies...as the day before...

In the eve,  we had cocktails, Dinner and a Movie:

Monday, Memorial day, We made french toast for breakfast, and planed the day...

I started to get Really Bad Allergies....Nothing seemed to work...

Ohhh well...Vae~Kae Must Go On!!!

We went into Petaluma for the afternoon....

 Beautiful Stairs in Antique Bank....And Amazing Art as well!

 Went for a Brewsky, Buzzard Wings and Garlic Fries...

while Stephen watched the game on a Big Screen...I know what makes him happy!!! *******************

To All Things Old And Wonderful!!.....

We spent the eve doing our thing...Stephen listening to a game, Me laying down cause I can't Breath....

 Ooohhhh....It's The Allergies!!!!!

All In All...It was a great Trip...with the Shasta and All!!

We'll be packing up in the Morn and heading Home to Eureka...It will be nice to get back to things at home...and I'm glad I had another great Adventure with My Retro Shasta!!
